The 20-1 class has been working hard on their final Macbeth assignments. While some students are creating their mandalas, others are producing their masks. It's nice to see them thinking of different symbols and colors that could represent the characters they've chosen. Some students are starting to really grasp how inanimate objects can mean so much more and represent people in a lot of different ways. When choosing objects to represent guilt, they're understanding that handcuffs or clouds could exemplify that trait in a certain character, or how Lady Macbeth could be represented by a time bomb or a serpent.Their assignments are due at the end of next week and I look forward to seeing their finished products and listening to their explanations of their symbols.
